It’s a particularly problematic trope that Korean TV writers use for female characters, often. It may be the one thing which pushes me to end viewing after 20 minutes or so. It truly is intolerable. The very sound grates on my nerves.
Note to self: don’t ever use this kind of character as a plot device.
